Favourites from Jeremy Scott

Personally I can find Jeremy Scott very hit and miss. What is great about his designs is his originality and the fun cartoon feel of his clothing. But I have to admit he can sometimes take it a bit far into the ridiculous, with some pieces looking more like a Zoolander mockery of fashion, rather than clothing anyone could look good in. Despite this, when he gets it right he does it so well. Below are some pieces I've selected from the catwalk over the years that I feel give him his well-deserved respect in the industry.

I especially love the pink fluffy shoes in the photo above!

Overall I think we can give Scott some serious credit for improving his skills as a designer over the years. While he has definitely released some questionable items in the past, his last two collections have been exciting and innovative. He has demonstrated his ability to create trends rather than follow them.
